Coffee has its place. But I’m a matcha girl - even if you aren’t, there are days where you may want energy without the edge.

This is the drink I make when to feel focused, steady and something that feels a little elevated. It’s creamy, lightly sweet, subtly grassy from the matcha, and built with collagen and fiber so it actually supports your body instead of just stimulating it.

This is how I think about “functional.” Not complicated. Just intentional.


Why This Works

Matcha contains caffeine, yes — but it also contains L-theanine, an amino acid that promotes a calmer, smoother energy curve.

When you combine that with:

✔ Collagen (for protein + skin support)

✔ Fiber (for gut + blood sugar stability)

✔ Healthy fat (to slow absorption)

You get energy that feels steady, not spiky.

This matters even more as we get older, because cortisol sensitivity changes. The all-or-nothing caffeine hit doesn’t always feel great anymore.

This is balanced.
