Crispy Tofu Bowls, Flourless Protein Cake + More Favorites
A weekly reset for women 40+: high-protein + fiber-forward meals, tips, and the things I’m loving this week
Thursday, February 12, 2026
Hello!
It finally feels like the year is settling in. My routines are back to normal for the most part after the long holidays (seemed longer than usual last year which I actually loved), and I’ve been getting more intentional about the things I can actually control.
I recently got my latest Function Health results back, and while there are a few areas I want to dial in and optimize, I also felt genuinely good about where my health is right now. As I get ready to turn 53 next week, that matters more to me than ever. Not perfection, just clarity and consistency.
That mindset is exactly what this week’s newsletter is built around. Below you’ll find a few solid, high-protein, fiber-forward recipes, and a couple things I’ve been reaching for lately. Nothing trendy, nothing extreme, just supportive, repeatable choices that make the rest of the week feel easier.
crispy hot honey tofu bowls
This crispy hot honey tofu bowl is one of those recipes I come back to again and again. It’s crunchy, spicy-sweet, deeply satisfying, and quietly doing a lot of good things for your blood sugar and digestion without feeling like “health food.”
flourless chocolate protein cake (single serve)
Flourless chocolate peanut butter protein cake that’s gooey in the center, rich, chocolatey… and made with real ingredients. This is what I make when I want something warm and chocolatey without baking an entire cake.
lemon blueberry protein chia oat bake (subscriber only)
There’s something about lemon and blueberries that feels fresh but comforting at the same time. This is the kind of breakfast that tastes like something you’d order at a cute café… except it quietly delivers 30+ grams of protein and double-digit fiber without wrecking your energy an hour later.

ELM Biosciences Skin Longevity Starter Kit

L’Oreal Ever Pure Iron Sleek Coat
I’ve been getting so many comments in real life and on my videos about how shiny my hair looks lately and this is the $12 reason: it’s a semi-permanent, sulfate-free smoothing treatment that lasts up to 5 washes for silky, shiny hair.
Haus Labs B-Structural Volumizing Mascara
This is the mascara Lady Gaga wore during her Superbowl Halftime show performance - it’s long wear, volumizes and lenghtens lashes while nourishing with panthenol for conditioning and rice protein to strengthen lash hair. I swear by this mascara.
I’m glad you’re here.
I hope something in this issue feels useful, grounding, or just quietly encouraging.
xo,
Lolita
