Something new starts this week — and I want you to know about it first
I've been thinking a lot lately about what this Substack is really for.
When I started this Substack, recipes felt like the right entry point and it was a way for those who follow me on social to get printable, full versions of my recipes. They’re tangible, shareable, and immediately useful.
But, recipes are only a small part of what The Thrive Method actually is and I’ve been selling both of us short by only housing them here.
The Thrive Method is a complete approach to living well after 40. It’s about understanding why your body responds differently now, and building a way of eating, moving, and living that works with those changes instead of fighting them. Protein and fiber are the foundation. Gut health, blood sugar stability, muscle preservation, and aging well from the inside out are the pillars. And yes — beauty and skincare are part of it too, because how we look and how we feel are the same conversation.
Starting this Wednesday, March 4th, that’s what this Substack is going to reflect.
Here’s what’s changing:
My Weekly Wednesday newsletter will now open with a Method Moment: one focused concept from The Thrive Method that gives you something genuinely useful, not just a recipe to try. The recipes are still a focus and I’ll be adding more each week. They’ll just have more context now. You’ll understand why a meal works, not just how to make it.
And for paid subscribers, March is the beginning of something I’m really excited about. Each month will have a focused theme, a specific area of the method we go deeper on together. This month will be Foundation: the core protein and fiber principles that everything else is built on. Paid subscribers will get a monthly Thrive Method meal plan with a master grocery list, Method Deep Dives, The Weekly Plate (a real, honest look at what I actually eat and why), Ask Lolita Q&A, and more.
It’s structured. It’s intentional. And it’s designed to make the Thrive Method something you actually live, not just read about.
If you’re already a paid subscriber — thank you. You’re exactly who I built this for, and I can’t wait to show you what this month looks like.
Wednesday’s newsletter goes out in three days. I’ll see you there.
— Lolita
