This is the dessert that makes people think you’ve been taking pastry classes.

Smooth, silky vanilla panna cotta that sets overnight into something genuinely elegant, topped with a warm berry compote that’s tart and jammy and makes the whole thing look beautiful. Five ingredients in the panna cotta itself. Ten minutes of active work. And a finished dessert that looks and tastes like something from a good restaurant.

It also has 20 to 25 grams of protein per serving, which is the part most people don’t believe until they’ve eaten it.

Why This Works

Traditional panna cotta is heavy cream, sugar, and gelatin. Beautiful, but not particularly nourishing. This version swaps most of the cream for Greek yogurt and adds protein powder, which sounds like a compromise until you taste it and realize the texture is actually better, silkier and slightly tangier in a way that makes the vanilla flavor pop more.

Greek yogurt brings protein and a subtle tang that keeps the panna cotta from tasting flat. A small amount of cream keeps the texture luxurious. Gelatin sets everything into that characteristic silky wobble. And the berry compote on top adds fiber, natural sweetness, and enough visual contrast to make this look genuinely impressive without any additional effort.
